Meet The Team

Name: Mr Simon Ravichandran MBChB.MRCS MCBAN
Role: Director

Bio: Mr Simon Ravichandran MBChB.MRCS MCBAN graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2000. He trained in ENT and Facial Plastic Surgery alongside developing a career in non-surgical aesthetic medicine. Together with his wife, Dr Emma Ravichandran, he co-founded the Clinetix Group, Ivy Aesthetic Training Academy and Association of Scottish Aesthetic Practitioners.

Since leaving his surgical career and committing full time to aesthetics he has also started the Aesthetic Medical Research Group, running a number of research projects. He is a regular contributor to a number of industry journals and is on the faculty of a number of conferences. He is an ambassador and key opinion leader for Merz Aesthetics, working to improve and better understand medical education and communication.

Name: Dr Emma Ravichandran BDS.MFDS
Role: Director

Bio: Dr Emma Ravichandran BDS.MFDS, the multi-award-winning specialist is co-founder of Ivy Aesthetic Training Academy, the Clinetix Group and the Association of Scottish Aesthetic Practitioners. Emma graduated with BDS.MFDS from the University of Glasgow in 2000 and initially trained as a paediatric dentist. She has dedicated the latter part of her career to pursuing excellence in aesthetic medicine.

Emma’s reputation and dedication to the highest standards in aesthetic medical practice have led to guest lecturing nationally and internationally and adopting key opinion leader roles. Emma has published multiple articles in a wide range of industry journal and publications. Emma’s is passionate about teaching the next generation of aesthetic practitioners to deliver outstanding, natural results to each and every patient.

Name: Dr Paula Mann BDS (Hons) MFDS.MFGDP
Role: Faculty

Bio: Dr Paula Mann BDS (Hons) MFDS MFGDP completed her dental degree at the University of Glasgow in 2000. With over 18 years of experience, she has served as a dedicated dental surgeon, including managing her own practice.

In 2018, Dr Paula made the decision to dedicate her time exclusively to facial aesthetics. Paula is an Innovation Partner for Merz Aesthetics and frequently presents at national dental and medical aesthetic conferences.

She is passionate about training and loves to see delegates leave courses feeling empowered and confident to perform aesthetic medical treatments.

Name: Dr Caroline Henderson BDS MJDF Dip Rest Dent RCS
Role: Faculty

Bio: Dr Caroline Henderson BDS MJDF Dip Reset Dent RCS qualified as a dental surgeon from the University of Glasgow in 2007 and splits her time between aesthetic medicine and dentistry.

Dr Caroline also holds a MJDF Diploma in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Dr Caroline carried out extensive training at Ivy, before becoming a trainer herself. Dr Caroline has a passion for natural, anti-ageing aesthetic treatments and her approachable, friendly manner allows delegates to feel completely comfortable and confident when attending training courses.
