Our Getting Started in Aesthetic Medicine – Botulinum Toxin Theory course is designed to provide you with the fundamental knowledge to safely and effectively administer Botulinum Toxin treatments.
Aesthetic medicine is a rapidly growing and exciting field that combines medical expertise with the art of enhancing an individual’s appearance.
Our Getting Started in Aesthetic medicine course is aimed at delegates with no previous experience in injecting Botulinum Toxin. It is also ideal as a refresher course for delegates who have previously trained but have not practised. All of our courses are designed specifically for registered doctors, dentists and nurses.
The theory section of the course consists of a series of online webinars. As this is often the first exposure to aesthetic medicine for many delegates the course will cover legal implications and practical considerations of aesthetic medicine. You will also be taught how to understand the indications for Botulinum Toxin treatments. Finally, we will cover the potential complications of treatment and how to manage these should they arise.
Practical Application
We will teach delegates how to use Botulinum Toxin to successfully treat forehead lines, crows feet and frown lines.

We would recommend bringing your own model as this will allow you to carry out a review following treatment. If you require the IVY Aesthetic Training Academy to source a model for your training we will require 2 weeks notice to source a suitable model (please note that this may involve an additional charge).
Yes, as with all courses at the IVY Aesthetic Training Academy courses, delegates must be a registered Doctor, Dentist or Nurse.
Yes, our team are always just an email away to answer any questions you may have. Following your training we will also add you to our closed Facebook group, where you can ask any questions and here previous delegates can ask questions to trainers and discuss various aspects with industry colleagues.
